"What Keeps Me Standing"

Pixel art of a world breathed into being from the heart of a dream. Tiered stone, a geological staircase to an unseen sky, rises in echoing platforms, each a stage for a silent drama. A cascade of sapphire spills from the heights, a liquid ribbon unraveling into a thousand shimmering threads, each a whispered promise of coolness. The water gathers in a jade pool, a mirror reflecting the unseen heavens, then flows onward, a silver sigh swallowed by emerald curtains. Flora swells in extravagant abundance; mushrooms are colossal parasols, their caps etched with the secrets of the deep, some pulsing with an inner luminescence like captured starlight. Fedifolk! We've just returned from a week on #Harris with the most amazing weather!

So here's „Sunny Day On Harris“ again (we were to early for the #Machair, though). I since realised that the original version of this doesn't work (you can't have a door in the chimney!) so here's a variant.

Which one do you prefer?

Finally spring has arrived. On the perfect morning I went to the place I know where currant tree are blooming. The early morning light lit them up perfectly.
For me this a shot I had for more then a year in my mind. The result is better than I hoped for.

Whew. I feel like I've been riding the struggle bus the last couple of days, but this photograph is helping me shake it off. There aren't too many problems that cottonwood trees showing off their autumn colors can't at least temporarily relieve.
